Iran will not bend towards enemy pressures, judiciary chief said on Monday.
AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran will not bend towards enemy pressures, judiciary chief said on Monday.
The Islamic Republic will not bow to these pressures, Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani said in a local ceremony on Monday.
The US and its allies in the region have spent millions of dollars to pressure Iran, but they should know that their dream will not come true, he noted.
The official believes that the US has made miscalculations about Iran's power and noted that enemy hostilities should be considered in decision-making and the policy-makers should not give up the nation rights.
US President Donald Trump has mounted pressure on Iran and on May 8 announced that Washington would withdraw from Iran's nuclear deal and re-impose nuclear-related sanctions on the country.
This is while most world powers, including Russia, China, and the European Union, have repeatedly stressed that keeping the deal is in the interest of the world peace and security.
