Hundreds of Lebanese people staged a demonstration outside Saudi Arabia’s embassy in the capital city Beirut to protest against the Saudi-led military aggression against Yemeni people, which claimed the lives of thousands of civilians and left that country's infrastructure in ruins.
The demonstrators were carrying placards and posters and chanting slogans Saudi monarchy’s atrocities in Yemen. Many were calling on the United Nations and other world bodies to stop the massacres against the Yemeni people.
The protesters also condemned attempts by a number of GCC littoral states for their normalization of diplomatic relations with the Tel Aviv regime.
Lebanese security forces set up iron barriers in front of the Saudi embassy and removed protesters 100 meters away from the building. There were no reports of clashes between security forces and the demonstrators.
