Tehreek-e-Gilgit-Baltistan general secretary Allama Shaikh Mirza Ali has urged the Pakistan government to ensure that people of Gilgit-Baltistan are granted constitutional status of citizens of Pakistan, immediately.
He said people of Gilgit-Baltistan have turned down the so-called orders, notifications and reforms and they would be compelled to come on streets for their legitimate constitutional rights.
He said that people of Gilgit-Baltistan have been denied their inalienable right for last over seven decades. He said that at first Gilgit-Baltistan was denied rights under FCR and since 1970s that FCR had been updated under new names.
Allama Shaikh Mirza said that nothing could address the grievances of GB people who long for equal rights as citizens of Pakistan under clear constitutional status.
