Over 50,000 cultural programs held for Razavi pilgrims in Muharram and Safar

The deputy director of Islamic Propagation of Astan Quds Razavi announced that more than 50,000 cultural programs were held for pilgrims in the two months of Muharram and Safar.
AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The deputy director of Islamic Propagation of Astan Quds Razavi announced that more than 50,000 cultural programs were held for pilgrims in the two months of Muharram and Safar.
Seyyed Jalal Hosseini, the deputy director of Islamic Propagation of Astan Quds Razavi, on the sidelines of the Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Strangers Eve, said, “Cultural activities for pilgrims of Razavi Illuminated Court, along with the mourning call ceremony on the first night of the month Muharram this year began, during which the mourning flag of Imam Hussein (A.S.) was raised on the dome of the Razavi Holy Shrine and the cultural programs of Astan Quds Razavi commenced in this regard.”
“During these two months, various cultural and promotional programs including knowledge-based, question and answer circles, elegy reading by preachers and missionaries, holding special programs for ladies at the Hazrat Zahra’s (S.A.) Portico, the presence of companions of the Qur’an at Dar al-Qur’an Karim and reception of four thousand religious groups were done,” he stated.
Stating that more than five million pilgrims in the final days of the month of Safar attended the Razavi Holy Shrine he added, “At the end of the month of Safar, the mourning will also end and the eyes of all pilgrims are gracefully kept on the benevolence of Imam Reza (A.S.) to help everyone on the Judgment Day.”
“We hope that these steps and pens and all the actions taken by the different walks of life, unions, organizations and religious people, as well as the outstanding presence in the ceremony of Arbaeen Husseini and the establishment of that splendid gathering in Karbala and thereafter in Mashhad al-Reza (A.S.) will satisfy our master,” Husseini expressed.
“According to the new approach of Astan Quds Razavi and its Grand Custodian to develop the concept of service this year, the servant assistants in a variety of ways manifested a new expression of service, as well as people who were able to bring the beautiful effects of the service at free stations” he pointed out.
“More than forty thousand non-Iranian pilgrims from the Islamic countries like Pakistan, India and the countries of East Asia and around the Persian Gulf, as well as pilgrims from European and American countries enjoyed the programs of a tent called the mourning tent of Aba-abdullah al-Hussein (A.S.) at the Razavi Holy Shrine,” Hosseini said on the presence of non-Iranian pilgrims at the Razavi Holy Shrine.
