ALLAMA RAJA NASIR WRITES LETTER TO IRAQI PM ON ZAIREEN VISA PROBLEMS

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen secretary general Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari has written letters to Iraq’s outgoing Prime Minister Haider al Abadi and outgoing Foreign Minister Ibrahim Jafri regarding delay in issuance of visa to Pakistani Zaireen for Arbaeen (Chehlum).
He has requested the Iraqi officials to ensure that Pakistan pilgrims should be issued visa without any delay so that they could proceed to commemorate the Chehlum (Arbaeen) anniversary of Imam Hussain’s martyrdom in Karbala. He also asked them to ensure provision of required facilities to the Zaireen of Imam Hussain’s sacred shrine.
According to MWM press release, on his behalf, MWM Foreign Affairs secretary has also contacted Iraqi officials in this regard.
