Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen secretary general Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari has paid a one-day visit to Dera Ismail Khan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to discuss the issue of those innocent Shia Muslims who were subjected to enforced disappearances without any charge. He also met the families of those Shia Muslims who were assassinated by takfiri terrorists.
After meeting and discussing said issues, he addressed a press conference in which he excoriated the KP police saying that as a matter of fact Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police is in no case an ideal police because the policemen are not serving people nor they enforce law. He said that counterterrorism department (CTD) in police was created against terrorists but unfortunately the CTD has tarnished its image itself by witch-hunt against innocent and law-abiding Shia Muslims who were not being produced in any court of law.
He lamented that now the CTD is implicating those innocent Shia Muslims in their custody in new cases also despite the fact that they have been under their illegal and undeclared custody hence how they could commit any crime while in CTD’s captivity?
He said that Shia Muslims were martyred in Parwa and other parts of Dera Ismail Khan but their killers have not yet been arrested. He lambasted the KP government of the Imran Khan-led PTI saying that he was not satisfied with the performance of that government.
He condemned the plots aimed at fanning sectarianism against Shia Muslims in Dera Ismail Khan. He said people of DI Khan love each other.
Meanwhile, he offered condolences to the bereaved families of Shia martyrs. He assured that he would leave no stone unturned for recovery of the missing Shia Muslims.
