The High Court Bar Association and Muttahida Jihad Council have condemned the targeted murder of Kashmiri Shia leader Mohammad Yousuf Nadeem, secretary general of Tehreek Wahdat-e-Islami who was an eminent figure of All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC).
The High Court Bar demanded that his killers must be arrested forthwith and they must be awarded capital punishment. They said a probe committee should be formed forthwith to ascertain the motives behind the targeted murder.
The Bar also expressed concern over the petition of father of Major Aditya in the Indian Supreme Court and the latter’s staying the probe. It said there was no justification so doing.
On the other hand, Muttahida Jihad Council spokesman Syed Sadaqat Hussain condemned the murder of Shia leader of India-held Kashmir. He vowed that enemies would not succeed in attaining any of their target by killing Kashmiri leaders.
