Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi meets with senior clerics in Qom

Hoj. Ahmad Marvi, the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, has met with a senior cleric in Qom to exchange views on various topics.
AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Hoj. Ahmad Marvi, the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, has met with a senior cleric in Qom to exchange views on various topics.
Addressing the chief custodian, Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani said: “You have been influential in Qom during your stay here for several years.”
“Thanks to the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad, there is high capacity for offering service to pilgrims.”
At a meeting with Hoj. Marvi, Ayatollah Shobeyri Zanjani also congratulated him for the “high spiritual position” and recommended paying special attention to the library of the holy shrine and publishing of rare books such as “Oyun Akhbar al-Reza”.
Grand Ayatollah Hossein Vahid Khorasani termed the appointment of the new chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi as a “great blessing”, and placed emphasis on promoting religious and cultural awareness for the pilgrims of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine by publishing influential books.
“The holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) has always been respected by both Muslims and non-Muslims,” said Ayatollah Safi Golpayegani during his meeting with Hoj. Marvi.
Wishing him success in serving the pilgrims of the holy shrine, the senior cleric asked for better availability of the exquisite books and manuscripts at the central library of the holy shrine.
Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi received Hoj. Marvi at his office and recommended him to maintain and boost his relations with the scholars and religious leaders in Qom. He also asked for more contribution of Astan Quds Razavi in supporting the flood-stricken people.
He further asked Hoj. Marvi to pay more attention to the theology school in Mashhad and address issues it is facing.
