Pakistani Hazara Shia community has called off sit-in after four days in south western city of Quetta on the assurances of the government that justice will be served, local media reported.

The community was staging protest demanding better security measures after terrorist attack against the community on Friday which killed 20 people and injured 48 injured others.
Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan and State Minister for Interior, Sheharyar Afridi visited the sits-in and assured the protesters that the justice will be served to the community.
'The Haraza community has sacrificed a lot, and also shown their patience despite precious human losses,' said Chief Minister vowing 'to bring to book the perpetrators of terrorist attacks'.
Women and children were among the protestors staging sit-in since shortly after the blast. The protestors are demanding an effective security plan from the government to implement for the protection of the Hazara community.
Speaking to the media, State Minister for Interior, Sheharyar Afridi said that the federal government stands with the Hazara community and that concrete steps will be taken to end the crimes against its members.
'The federal government will play its role in making sure that these heinous crimes end,' he said.
The Hazara community has been disproportionately targeted by sectarian violence as they are easily identifiable due to their distinctive physical appearance.
A report released by the National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR) last year stated that 509 members of Hazara community were killed and 627 injured in various incidents of terrorism in Quetta from January 2012 to Dec 2017.
