Thai Sunni Muslims pay tribute to Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine

Twelve Thai Muslim students of seminary schools paid a visit to the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), as well as to the Central Museum of the Holy Quran and the Museum of Leader's Gifts to the Holy Shrine.

The Shia and Sunni students’ visit was coordinated by Astan Quds Razavi Center for International Affairs.
According to Jamileh Hosseini, who accompanied the visiting team, many Shia and Sunni Muslims in Thailand got familiar with and showed interest in visiting Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine after a flag of the holy shrine was presented to them.
"We forget our sorrows when in the holy shrine. We feel at peace there, and get astonished by observing in person the affections Imam Reza (AS) offers to his pilgrims," she said expressing hope for another chance to visit the holy shrine again.
After visiting the museums of Astan Quds Razavi, Hosseini said the manuscripts attributed to the Imams (AS) are among the most attractive items in this "invaluable treasury".
She added hope that the flag of the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) would be presented to Thai Muslims every year, "since it is very valuable for the Muslims in Thailand who seek a chance to visit the holy shrine each year."
