Ayatollah Hadavi Tehrani has issued a statement on condemnation of Indian government's brutal aggression against Kashmir.
AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Grand Ayatollah Hadavi Tehrani has issued a statement on condemnation of Indian government's brutal aggression against Kashmir.
The full text of the Assembly’s statement is as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
For what sin were they killed?
{The Holy Quran: Surah al-Takveer: Verse 9}
Kashmir in India, with its faithful and suffering people, is part of the vast Muslim community. For several weeks, its innocent people have been subjected to unprecedented and brutal attacks by the Indian government in the shadow of the deadly silence of the world's media. Shocking news, coming out despite heavy censorship, are much painful and regrettable.
How does a government in the modern world allow itself to violate the rights of a large group of citizens and to invade their lives and properties?!
How can a government attack a part of its territory in a barbarous and violent way and regard it a step towards the return of 'past glory' to Kashmir?!
Undoubtedly, the free people, especially Muslims all over the world, must prevent the continuation of this shameful abuse in every possible way and express their disgust at the harsh behavior of Indian government.
Free governments, especially Muslim States, must join hands and urge international and regional organizations and assemblies to put an end to this crime and restore the rights of the oppressed people of Kashmir.
"And those who act unjustly shall know to what final place of turning they shall turn back" (the Holy Quran: Surah: Al-Shu'ara: Verse 227)
