The United States admits that it does not matter if it violates human rights by selling arms to Saudi Arabia because Saudi money creates jobs, according to Iranian Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadegh Larijani on Monday.
AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The United States admits that it does not matter if it violates human rights by selling arms to Saudi Arabia because Saudi money creates jobs, according to Iranian Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadegh Larijani on Monday.
Ayatollah Sadegh Larijani made the remarks on Monday, a day after the birth anniversary of holy prophet Muhammad.
Expressing regret over the moral degeneration of Western civilization, Ayatollah Larijani said “you should be ashamed of your claims on human rights. Your bombs are slaughtering innocent people of Yemen but because you have signed military contracts with Saudi Arabia and as you say because your arms sales to Saudi Arabia have created jobs for you, you have kept silent about these crimes. A Saudi journalist was brutally killed and while your intelligence services confirmed that bin Salman was behind the crime you are saying that you cannot do anything because their money counts.”
The Iranian judiciary chief further said that the United States violates human rights because it sells 400 billion worth of weapons to Saudi Arabia.
“The former US rulers were the same,” he stressed, adding “as the Americans explicitly say, they can do anything for money and violate any moral values.”
Ayatolla Larijani further called on the Muslim countries to unite against the enemies' conspiracies.
