Iranian Quran Activists Attend Quranic Session in Karbala

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - A group of Iranian Quran activists from the holy city of Mashhad participated in a Quran recitation session organized at the holy shrine of Hazrat Abbas (AS) in Karbala, Iraq.
According to Qaaf news agency, the group, named "Siraat”, has traveled to the holy city of Karbala to learn about the "Amir al-Qurra” national Quranic plan underway for teenage Qaris in Iraq.
The session was held by the organizers of the Quranic plan.
Hussein Khalil, a participants in the plan, started the session with recitation of some verses of the holy Quran based on the style of Sheikh Shahat Muhammad Anwar.
The program continued with a congregational Quran recitation by a group of teenagers in Sheikh Abdul Basit Abdul Samad’s style.
Muhammad Sattar, the youngest participant in the plan, was the other Qari of the session who recited some Quranic verses in Iraqi style.
The program concluded with the Quran recitation in Minshawi's style by another group of the participants in the plan.
